This recreational park is located at Rahadi Oesman street, exactly in front of the Mayor’s Office of Pontianak. Kapuas Square is a  beautiful and comfortable place to relax while enjoying the view of the Kapuas river with its activities. In the afternoon while standing on the edge of the fence of the park, visitors can enjoy the beauty of the Kapuas river. Visitors can also enjoy the exoticism of this region while sitting on the stairs located on the banks of the river (waterfront) by dipping a foot into the Kapuas river.

Kapuas River stretches from the West Kalimantan until South Kalimantan, length is about 1143 km and Kapuas is the longest of Indonesia river. Among cultures that exist along the Kapuas river, this river flows through the city of Pontianak.

This museum is also known as the Museum of Pontianak. This historical sights are on the General Ahmad Yani, Pontianak. The museum is divided into three zones which have three different collections. Ranging from artifacts findings in West Kalimantan, a collection of royal objects, art craft and culture of the Dayak tribe, to a collection of Chinese ceramics. Aloe Vera Center

Aloe Vera Center is where the cultivation of aloe vera plant which are on the Budi Utomo, Siantan Hulu, North Pontianak. 
Here, you can find aloe vera with giant size. Just imagine, every frond can weigh 1.2 kg. You can also see the processing of this plant into a variety of foods such as jelly, sweets and flour. In addition, aloe vera is also processed into cream for the skin.

Masjid Jami Pontianak


This mosque is also known as Masjid Sultan Syarif Abdurrahman. Together palace, the mosque became a witness the origin of the town of Pontianak. Once out of the mosque, you can stop by the traditional markets located in the left side of the entrance to the mosque. In this market, you can buy fresh fish from the Kapuas River.
