The Immanuel Protestant Church of Western Indonesia (Gereja Protestan Indonesia Barat Immanuel), better known as Blenduk Church (Gereja Blenduk) is a Protestant church in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. Built in 1753, it is the oldest church in the province.

Semarang Contemporary Art Gallery


Located in the old town area. Judging from its name, one of the region's famous Semarang store sites "old" or older in age. The buildings in this area is of Dutch heritage. Although old or older, some of the buildings here still functioned well, including the building which now functioned as an art gallery.

Wingko Babad Cap Kereta Api

Wingko Babad Cap Kereta Api


One of the most famous Wingko joints in town, Wingko Babad Cap Kereta Api was founded by D. Mulyono back in 1946. During that time, he touted his Wingko at Semarang Tawang Train Station – the mode of transportation that provided the inspiration for the name of his Wingko, as well as its train logo. These days, scores of sellers across the city have used the logo without permission and plastered it on to their own Wingko. You can only get the original at its shop on Jalan Cendrawasih.

Kampung Batik Semarang


Kampung Batik Semarang experienced a heyday before the 1942. In the early 1980s but failed to survive and get back to sink. Of course many factors that caused the failure. Until finally Kampung Batik Semarang started to rise again in 2006.

Lawang Sewu

Lawang Sewu ("Thousand Doors") is a landmark in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia, built as the headquarters of the Dutch East Indies Railway Company. The colonial era building is famous as a haunted house, though the Semarang city government has attempted to rebrand it.
