Ijen Crater

The crater lake of Ijen is known to be the largest acidic water lake in the world. Ijen Crater is in the area of Ijen Park Nature Reserve Bondowoso and Banyuwangi regency, East Java. Every morning at around 02:00 to 04:00, around the crater can be found the phenomenon of blue fire, which is the uniqueness of this place, because the natural scene is only at two places in the world, Iceland and Ijen. From Ijen Crater, we can see the other mountain scenery in the Ijen Mountain complex, among them is the peak of Mount Merapi which is east of Ijen Crater, Mount Raung, Mount Suket, Mount Rante, and so on.

Osing Tourism Village or Using is located in Kemiren Village, Glagah, Banyuwangi. The inhabitants of this village are a group of people who have distinctive customs and cultures as one tribe, known as the Osing (Using). The government established it, as a cultural heritage area and developed it as a Tourist Village (Tribe) Using (Osing). The Osing people are the remaining Blambangan peoples. The descendants of the Blambangan Hindu kingdom differ from other societies (Javanese, Madurese and Balinese), when viewed from the cultural and language customs. Kemiren village was born in the Dutch colonial era, the 1830s. Initially, this village is just a field of rice fields and forest belonging to the people of Cungking Village which is the forerunner of Osing society.

G-Land


G-Land or more familiarly known as Plengkung Beach is one of the best surf beaches in the world that is suitable for surf sports lovers. Dealing directly with the waters of the Indian Ocean so it has a wave that can reach 4 to 8 meters with a length of 2 km. The waves in the G-Land also consists of three levels namely Kong Waves (waves reaching 6 to 8 meters high), Speedis Waves (waves reaching 5 to 6 meters high), and Many Track Waves (high waves 3 to 4 meters). Like a paradise for surfers, this great wave is only in Hawaii and South Africa and is presenting an unspoiled area.

Red Island is a white sand beach stretching along 3km with a 200 meters high hill from the shoreline covered with green vegetation. Located in Sumber Agung Village, Pesanggaran Subdistrict, this tourist destination is surrounded by Mangrove trees and presents 2 meter waves that are not too big for swimming or ideal spot for beginner surfers. Not only suitable as a place to surf alone, Red Island is also suitable as a fishing spot that is provided complete with traditional boat services, snorkeling, hill climb not far from the beach, swim, or relax on the beach while enjoying typical snacks of Red Island Beach.

Green Bay


Teluk Hijau or Green Bay is one of the tourist destinations located in Meru Betiri National Park, Serangon Village, Pesanggrahan Subdistrict, Banyuwangi. Teluk Hijau has a blue beach with a gradation of tosca that makes the sea water on the beach is green, green itself comes from the reflection of sea algae is very easy to find in the clear seabed, which is one of the reasons of the naming of the Gulf Green. Providing a calm ocean panorama and fine white sand on the soles of the feet, besides rafflesia flowers can also be found there. On the eastern side not far from the beach, there is a waterfall as high as 8 meters of fresh and natural.

Sukamade beach

Sukamade beach is located in Meru Betiri National Park area which is located in the same direction with Rajekwesi Beach and Teluk Hijau Beach. At first Sukamade beach is a natural forest in East Java, Sukamade Beach is one of the turtle nesting sites of the Indian Ocean and Pacific. In addition Sukamade Beach is also a place of turtle breeding, here can be found several types of turtles that lay eggs such as Green Turtle (Chelonia mydas), Hawksbill (Eretmochelys imbricata), Slengikrah Turtle (Lepidochelys olivacea), and Leatherback Turtles (Dermochelys coriaceae). Not far from Sukamade Beach there are rubber, coffee and octa plantations grown on an area of 1200 hectares.
 

Sadengan Grassland


Sadengan Grassland is located in District Tegaldlimo, Alas Purwo National Park area of 80 hectares and is a semi-natural. In the grasslands of Sadengan can be found the habitat of various wildlife such as Bull (Bos javanicus), deer (Cervus timorensis), ajag (Cuon alpinus), antelope (Muntiacus muntjak), boar (Sus scrofa), and leopard (panthera pardus). These animals can be seen through a three-story animal monitoring post so that they can see wildlife directly from the heights.
