Pontianak, September 15, 2022 – On Thursday 15th, at Majesty Restaurant, ASTON Pontianak held a Media Gathering Event with a Fun Cooking Challenge & Coffee Morning. This event also launched a series of activities to celebrate the 12th anniversary of ASTON Pontianak. Thursday's event was conducted in a relaxed but fun way, starting with some breakfast bonding, followed by a Fun Cooking challenge with our Media colleagues.

"The successful development of ASTON Pontianak over the previous 12 years is greatly due to the participation of the media, both print, electronic and online. I am grateful for the presence of all our media colleagues and their excellent support and cooperation so far," said Anto W. Soemartono, General Manager of ASTON Pontianak. "The media plays an important role in supporting the existence of hotels, especially now as we recover from the pandemic. Therefore, ASTON Pontianak took the theme for this year's birthday, ASTON Pontianak RISE, which means this moment of awakening. Of course, this needs the participation of both us as employees and management and from outside parties, one of which is the media," he added.

Nova, one of the participants, said she was very happy to participate in the Fun Cooking Challenge because there have been no activities like this in the last two years due to the pandemic.

The hotel, established on October 10, 2010, takes the theme of ASTON PONTIANAK 12ISE, combining its 12-year-old age with "Rising." This moment of awakening will bring the spirit of Refreshment, Innovation, overcoming problems, Sense, being more concerned with the environment, and Excellence, continuing to be committed to providing excellent service.

In addition to the Media Gathering, a series of activities to celebrate ASTON Pontianak's anniversary will include competitions between employees (PES Competition, Water Polo, and Pimpong), General Cleaning, Blood Donation, Mangrove Planting, and Orphanage Visits. This Media Gathering event was supported by ASTON Ketapang, Favehotel Ketapang, NEO Gajahmada, and Transera Hotel Pontianak.
