Madiun – Celebrating its 9th anniversary on June 12, 2023, Aston Madiun Hotel & Conference Center hosted the Glorious Night Run 2023. As the pinnacle event of Aston Madiun's 9th anniversary celebration, this event took place on June 16, 2023. The opening and flag-off ceremony was conducted by Drs. H. Maidi, S.H, M.M., M.Pd., the Mayor of Madiun. The Glorious Night Run attracted 700 runners from East Java.

"The Glorious Night Run is the highlight of Aston Madiun's 9th anniversary celebration with the theme of Glory. It also forms a part of the 105th Anniversary of Madiun City and the 77th Anniversary of Bhayangkara. This nighttime event allows participants to experience the beauty of Madiun City at night," said Mira Kiranasasi, General Manager of Aston Madiun Hotel & Conference Center.

The Glorious Night Run 2023 marked the first open event of its kind held in Madiun City. The 5-kilometer route, which passed through the center of Pahlawan Street, was designed in the shape of the number 9. While the event was designed as a fun run, it also included a championship category for participants. The men's main champion was Arkadius from Pasuruan, who completed the run in a remarkable time of 17 minutes and 48 seconds, while the women's main champion was Kayla from Madiun City, who finished in 25 minutes and 4 seconds. In addition to the champions, the organizers also provided finisher medals for all participants.

To add to the excitement of the event, participants had the opportunity to win various door prizes such as electric bicycles, smart TVs, washing machines, refrigerators, hotel vouchers, and more. The participants were also entertained by a performance from the Bajrayudha 501 drum band. The Mayor of Madiun expressed hope that such events can be held in the future to attract more tourists, promote Madiun City, and provide a platform for young talent, especially within the City of Madiun.
