ASTON Inn Batu Celebrates Its 5th Anniversary
Highlighted by the Archipelago Food Festival and the Soft Opening of Eskala Eatery, Bar & Coffee

Batu, June 2023 – Proudly celebrating its 5th anniversary on Friday to Saturday, July 14, 2023, ASTON Inn Batu hosted the Archipelago Food Festival and the Opening of Eskala Pool, Garden, and Bar. This series of events provided a unique culinary experience and introduced exciting new facilities for guests.
The Archipelago Food Festival (AFF) is a culinary feast organized by the Executive Chefs from hotels under the Archipelago International umbrella. Taking place on July 14, 2023, the event carried the theme "Discover Nusantara Culinary Delights Where Gastronomy Meets Natural Beauty." Held at the Semeru New Ballroom in ASTON Inn Batu, the festival featured ten Executive Chefs from various Archipelago hotels in the East Java region and its surroundings: Chef Herman from Favehotel Sidoarjo, Chef Mantri from Favehotel Kediri, Chef Subadri from ASTON Madiun Hotel & Conference Center, Chef Susanto from The Alana Surabaya, Chef Eko from Favehotel Rungkut, Chef Bowo from ASTON Inn Jemursari, Chef Hanidari from Neo+ Waru Sidoarjo, Chef Hendra from Favehotel Malang, Chef Sinyo from ASTON Bojonegoro, and Chef Al from ASTON Inn Batu.
Together with these ten Executive Chefs, Archipelago International presented dishes from various regions in Nusantara, such as Rawon Sapi, Rujak Cingur, Ayam Bekakak, Ayam Woku Belanga, Sate Padang, Roti Jala, Empek-Empek, Coto Makasar, Soto Banjar, and many other menus.

"Archipelago Food Festival is a roadshow event held in several cities in Indonesia every month throughout the year 2023. As an initiative to support the revival of the culinary industry, especially in the hospitality sector, it also aims to introduce cuisine made with the best quality ingredients and prepared professionally by the Executive Chefs from Archipelago hotels," added Denny Frederick, Corporate Executive Chef of Archipelago International.

Aside from savoring various culinary delights from all over the archipelago, the AFF in Batu - Malang was also enlivened by other exciting entertainments such as contemporary dances, live bands, and chef live cooking shows.
ASTON Inn Batu also held the opening of Eskala Pool, Garden, and Bar on Saturday, July 15, 2023. Eskala is an additional facility that offers a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Guests can relish a comfortable swimming pool, refreshing green gardens, and a bar serving a variety of drinks and foods.
