As the first Smart Hotel in East Java, ASTON Inn Jemursari continues to provide a creative space for the Surabaya community to be creative and develop their potential, individually and as a group. One is the Doodle Art Surabaya Community (DAS), consisting of students, college students, and even professional workers. Not everyone understands Doodle art; Doodles are simple drawings that can have concrete representational meaning or only consist of random and abstract lines, and generally without ever lifting the drawing device from the paper. In this case, it is commonly referred to as 'scribbles.'

And last night, at the Julia Rose Sky Lounge on the 7th floor, the Doodle Art Meet Up 2023 event was held. After a hiatus due to the pandemic, last night's event felt like an exciting and friendly gathering between community members, a community first established on April 26, 2017, with a total of 30 members. They were very enthusiastic about the discussion, and the event included numerous doodles on drawing paper brought by each member.

'One manifestation of our concern for the Surabaya community is to provide space for expression through positive activities that produce unique and interesting works, including imaginative themes full of messages and impressions. We hope community partners will remember ASTON Inn Jemursari as a hotel that welcomes constructive events for all communities.' The event took place from 6 to 9 p.m. and was attended by 15 community members. During the event, the hotel on Jalan Sidosermo also provided various snacks, coffee, and tea facilities to participants at the discussion session and workshop.
