This October, to preserve Batik as Indonesia's cultural heritage, ASTON Sentul Lake Resort & Conference Center is participating in the national movement by holding a batik show.

After being inaugurated as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO on October 2 2009, October is always celebrated as Indonesian National Batik Month every year. ASTON Sentul Lake Resort & Conference Center hosted a distinctive fashion show at Barata Restaurant situated on the third (3rd) floor. This unique catwalk presentation took an unexpected twist, as models gracefully paraded not on a traditional stage but within the restaurant itself. The hotel staff showcased the exquisite Batik Riana Kesuma collection in a remarkable display.

The theme for the event was "The Art of Handwritten Batik," showcasing an array of Solo Batik motifs that vividly displayed the essence and charm of handwritten Batik. The presentation featured timeless hues like red, blue, green, and brown. This lunchtime event was warmly received by hotel guests.
