Batam, 26 October 2023. Archipelago Group, a leading hospitality provider in Batam, proudly announces its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at empowering the future generation of hospitality professionals. Through a collaborative effort from three of its esteemed properties—ASTON Batam Hotel & Residence, ASTON Nagoya City Hotel, and ASTON Inn Gideon—this CSR project saw the delivery of a comprehensive Food & Beverage Basic Skill training program to students of SMK Pariwisata Adimulia.
The CSR training program was successfully led by Archipelago Group's Corporate Food & Beverage Manager, Mr. Denny Sadsunu W., and supported by the Food & Beverage Managers of each participating hotel. Mr Chossy Mohar L. of ASTON Batam Hotel, Mrs Maharani Saksena B. of ASTON Nagoya City Hotel, and Mr Alan Aulia H. of ASTON Inn Gideon lent their expertise to ensure that the students received a well-rounded education in Food & Beverage service.
The warm welcome received from SMK Adimulia was a testament to the shared commitment towards nurturing talent in the hospitality industry. The Head of School, Bapak Sugiman Arianto, S.Pd, and the General Manager, Bapak David Boleng, S.SI, were instrumental in facilitating a conducive learning environment for the training.
Seventy enthusiastic students participated in the training program, displaying a strong desire to learn and excel in the world of Food & Beverage. The comprehensive program covered various aspects of Food & Beverage service, from basic skills to industry best practices, and it provided a valuable opportunity for the students to gain hands-on experience.
"We believe in giving back to the communities where we operate, and nurturing local talent is at the heart of our CSR initiatives," stated Mr. Denny Sadsunu W., the Corporate Food & Beverage Manager Archipelago Group. "This training program not only equips the students with essential skills but also allows them to explore the exciting career opportunities within the hospitality industry."
The Archipelago Group is committed to supporting initiatives that contribute to the development of Batam's hospitality sector. The success of this CSR training program at SMK Pariwisata Adimulia is a testament to the dedication and passion of all those involved and reflects Archipelago Group's commitment to fostering the growth of young, aspiring hospitality professionals.
