Canggu, Bali, Indonesia – November 4, 2023 – ASTON Canggu Beach Resort celebrated the Piodalan ceremony on Sunday, October 29, 2023. The Piodalan ceremony is a traditional Hindu ritual that is held to pray for safety, prosperity, and smooth sailing in life.

The ceremony began with a series of tangkil and mendak tirta, during which ASTON Canggu staff worked together to clean the resort, make penjor (decorative bamboo poles), prepare mebat, make gebogan (fruit offerings), and prepare banten (religious offerings). On Sunday, October 29, all ASTON Canggu staff gathered for a joint prayer to express gratitude for their health, safety, and smoothness in performing their duties.

The Piodalan ceremony also serves an important purpose of praying for the smooth sailing and success of all tasks that will be carried out in the years to come, as well as requesting safety and abundance of health and smoothness in providing service to esteemed guests.
