Pontianak, December 14, 2023 - In welcoming the festivity and spirit of Christmas, filled with kindness and love, ASTON Pontianak Hotel & Convention Center conducted a visit to the Panti Asuhan Harapan Bangsa located at Jalan R.E. Martadinata Gang Periak, West Pontianak District on Thursday, December 14, 2023. Several representatives from the employees and management of ASTON Pontianak Hotel & Convention Center visited together and brought aid in the form of groceries and cash. The event included a symbolic donation handover, followed by a friendly gathering and communal prayers.

"This visit is an annual agenda and part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to enliven Christmas together with the children of the orphanage," said Birgita, a representative from the management of ASTON Pontianak Hotel & Convention Center. "We hope that what we provide can assist in the operational needs for celebrating the Christmas holiday, showing our care through sharing happiness and joy in welcoming Christmas and the New Year," she added.

Betty Piloto, representing the management of Panti Asuhan Harapan Bangsa, welcomed the delegation from ASTON Pontianak Hotel & Convention Center warmly. "On behalf of the management, I express gratitude for the willingness and opportunity for ASTON Pontianak Hotel to visit the children of this orphanage. Here, there are a total of 40 children with various ages, ranging from the youngest who are already in the first grade of elementary school to those in college. Our vision for these children is for them to attend school until they reach college, whether they choose to return to their hometowns or continue working after graduation," she mentioned while at Panti Asuhan Harapan Bangsa.

Panti Asuhan Harapan Bangsa, established since 2000, was initially founded by Mrs. Betty Piloto and her husband in 1996. This orphanage, situated in the West Pontianak District, is registered with the Pontianak City Government under Registered Decree Number 220/02/Kesbangpol.SP/III/2019. Currently, the management of Panti Asuhan Harapan Bangsa consists of five individuals overseeing 40 children of varying ages, all of whom are undergoing education in nearby schools.
