As the old proverb says “Behind a successful man there is a great woman behind him,” it's the same in the business world, especially in the hotel industry. "Behind the success of a hotel, there are great women behind it." In fact, women nowadays are no longer behind men, but at the forefront and up to decision making level.

Even though the number of female workers is still not as large as men, women can actually occupy important positions, as is the case at ASTON Priority Simatupang. As many as 8.6% of the total employees are in the Supervisor position, 6.3% of the total employees are at the managerial level, and the top management level or called the General Manager position, is also led by a woman. Various divisions such as Front Office, Housekeeping, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Food & Beverage, and Engineering also have female employees.

This is in line with the results of women's struggle from time to time to obtain equal rights in various industrial fields, the opportunity to obtain an appropriate career path, and eliminate gender discrimination in the work environment.

ASTON Priority Simatupang is one of the property units in the Archipelago International hotel group network and is in the top three that generate the largest revenue in the group in 2023. Once again, this success has the hard work of the women behind it. Therefore, every year this hotel never fails to celebrate International Women's Day which is celebrated every March 8 as an appreciation for the achievements achieved. At this celebration, Hotel management provides gifts in the form of souvenirs and chocolates to female employees, and cakes with an aesthetic appearance to female guests which were sent to their rooms as a surprise.

"ASTON Priority Simatupang is aware of the importance of women's struggle in achieving equal rights, in the Hotel Industry itself there are not as many women as men, but currently women can occupy the highest positions in management. We also value our female guests and employees in all kinds of roles. Therefore, we routinely celebrate International Women's Day every year to give appreciation to all our female guests and employees." said Andi Gevika Rizki, General Manager of ASTON Priority Simatupang Hotel.
