Banten, March 2024 - At the enthusiastically celebrated Ekbispar Award event, the Banten Journalists Association focusing on economic, business, and tourism coverage, Ekbispar, held a special event as a form of appreciation to partners and speakers who have contributed to efforts to enhance economic growth in the province of Banten.

The event, organized by the Ekbispar Banten Journalists Task Force, is part of a series of activities conducted by the association, such as the Banten Economic Outlook, Financial Services Education, Cheap Market Bazaar, Fun Walk, and others.

One of the most memorable moments was the presentation of the Ekbispar Award in the Environmental Care category to the Aston Serang Hotel & Convention Center. This award was presented directly by the Mayor of Cilegon, H. Helldy Agustian, S.E., S.H., M.H., to the General Manager of Aston Serang Hotel & Convention Center, Doddy Fathurahman, who received the award for his commitment and concern for the environment, especially through the policy of not providing bottled water in hotel rooms.

Doddy Fathurahman, General Manager of Aston Serang Hotel & Convention Center, explained, "We proudly accept the Ekbispar Award in the Environmental Care category for our efforts at Aston Serang Hotel & Convention Center. This is recognition of our commitment to preserving the environment and promoting awareness of the importance of sustainability. The award ceremony, which took place from 19:00 to 21:30 WIB, was attended by various important figures, including PJ Governor of Banten Al Muktabar, PJ Mayor of Serang, Serang Regency Secretary, and of course Mayor of Cilegon Helldy Agustian. This warm and lively event was held at the Pendopo of Aston Serang Hotel & Convention Center with a total of 70 invitees consisting of media colleagues and partners.

The Chairperson of the Ekbispar Banten Journalists Task Force expressed deep gratitude to the Aston Serang Hotel & Convention Center as well as all partners and speakers who have together contributed to the economic development of Banten Province.
